Super Mario DOS World
is based on Super Angelo by Mike Wiering (creator of Charlie the Duck and Sint Nicolaas)

SMDW used modified Flash version of Super Angelo from 2010 is but Flash port is based on DOS version from 90's/early 2001. not DOS version of Super Angelo (can't edit graphics, don't ripped from DOS version)

In Past, First Mario Fangame for DOS called Mario & Luigi from 1994 (It's Super Mario Clone, not real or official license from Nintendo) is developer by Mike Wiering (before Wiering Software until end of 1990's)

Super Mario DOS World is inspired by between Mike Wiering's Mario & Luigi (1994) and WS Games like Charlie the Duck and Sint Nicolaas

Changes from Flash version of Super Angelo:
  • Replaced Sprite Angelo with Mario from M&L DOS
  • Text changed ANGELO to MARIO in Story from Main Menu and Status Bar
  • Enemies from M&L DOS such as Goomba and Koopa, Spiny etc, except Bird and others from WS Games
  • Replaced Boss Sprite Dragon with Bowser from Mario is Missing NES is Custom SNES Style (credit thanks to stormpuma from TSR), never DOS Style of Bowser from M&L not appear in World 1-4/Level 6 (likely be Final version, won't be Beta version without Bowser)
  • Replaced Items Strawberry, Gun, 1UP and Shield with Mushroom, Fire Flower, Green Mushroom and Star
  • Replaced Blocks Star, Arrow etc with ? Block, Music Block etc from M&L DOS
  • GAME OVER, TIME UP! and THE END (Unused) from Super Mario All-Stars version of SMB1
  • Princess from Super Angelo with Changed Color from Princess Peach
  • In Startup Screen, Replaced Wiering Software Logo with Korxtendo Logo and Added Font from SMAS: SMB1
  • Title Screen changed, Logo and Frames from Super Mario World and Images from M&L DOS
  • List both Top Score and More Games is removed from Main Menu of Title Screen

1. Download Old Flash Player Plugin from Wayback Machine with go to adobe.com or find the other site
2. You need to Install Flash Player Plugin (Old version, not latest) for Pale Moon latest version not Firefox or Chrome while End of Flash Player no longer after December 31th, 2020 from Official Adobe
3. Drop and drag .swf to Pale Moon
4. Play the Game!
5. enjoy!

For Flash Player Projector
1. Download Flash Player Last version is 32.0.0.465 from Official Adobe Site via Wayback Machine, need to select December 2020 on Wayback Machine, find link is flash_player_32_sa.exe
2. Run flash_player_32_sa.exe
3. Open SWF File in Flash Player Projector

  • Your Level is Save the game under "Continue" in Main Menu after GAME OVER or Close the Game, if load game cannot Lives and Score but reset and lives is 3 by default

This Fan Game isn't Nintendo's DMCA take down?
Like All Mario, Zelda, Kirby and Pokemon etc games from gamejolt (except Mario Forever from Softendo site and MF Forum) was take down due to DMCA issues since early 2021.
Mario Flash online games from any sites still active, not take down from Nintendo's DMCA.
